English Following the complete genome sequencing of an increasing number of organisms, structural biology is engaging in a systematic approach of high-throughput structure determination called structural genomics to create a complete inventory of protein folds/structures that will help predict functions for all proteins. First results show that structural genomics will be highly effective in finding functional annotations for proteins of unknown function.
