English My desire to shoot in Ecuador comes with a wish for connecting more to this country and the stories and situations I have experienced there. I’m especially attracted to the strange and mysterious stories, encounters, objects and situations, that I have found while travelling on the roads there. Due to my origins, that combine two different cultures and unite sometimes contrasting perspectives, Ecuador feels like a place that produces a lot of absurd situations. There might be many explanations for a certain situation and also space for me to imagine and provide these explanations myself. It is a powerful motor that stimulates questions and imaginations.
